March 29, 2008-EMAIL: re: DEMONIC POSSESSION

A friend of mine several months back was clawed all over her back and sides of her stomach. It didnt break the skin but she said it stung. The scratches disappeared by the next day. She just contacted me and is smelling sulfer only around her. Can you tell me what this could mean?

Mar 5, 2008- GHOST IN THE BEDROOM...AGAIN About 3 AM this morning I was awakened by the form of a grown woman standing at the end of the bed. She was floating, and her feet were at least a foot above the floor. She was small, about 5 feet tall, and dressed in a very plain brown dress made of coarse-material. It almost looked like a burlap "feed sack" but was loosely made to fit her form. Her hair was dark, slightly below shoulder length, and wavy but somewhat unkept looking. My immediate thought was that this was a woman who would be living off the land in a primitive setting.

In her right hand she held a sort of bouquet of branches with dried leaves. Suddenly, to my surprise, she leaped forward towards me with the bouquet extended and shaking. It reminded me of an Indian medicine man trying to perform some kind of ritual. She quickly stepped back from her lunge at me, and I followed by pushing back the covers, sitting up, and preparing to crawl down the bed towards her. As I pushed on the cover, she began to de-materialize and softly faded away. The whole incident lasted maybe 10 seconds.

Mary and I have become (sort of) adjusted to the occasional interuption of a nights sleep by curious spirits. The regular sessions of EVP seem to have increased our ability to have these experiences, and we have learned to not be afraid, and that we can easily stop the incident by merely "willing" them away ! We have not noted that anyone who does EVP occasionally would necessarily have these experiences, but remember that we have participated in thousands of spirit world communications and spirits are often waiting on the sidelines for the opportunity to speak to the Earth plane. November 21, 2007-IS THERE A HELL ? "I'm in HELL !" (click to hear actual ghost voice recording). In the many thousands of EVP receordings I have made during communications with the spirit world,, not once have I received even a hint that there might be a permanent "punishment-type" of fire and brimstone Hell for those who do not live morally correct lives on Earth.

However, I must say that a fairly consistent theme is that we can , from our own guilt, construct a hellish type of environment for ourselves if in fact our beliefs in life have us thouroughly convinced that a Hell might be in store for us.. Remember, life in the astral plane is an existence in which mere thoughts are energy...and energy creates your reality.

Many believe that Earth is actually the "real Hell" , and certainly we must agree that there is reason to consider that theory.

Some spirits in the astral remain confused for some time after the demise of their bodies and, not knowing what to expect, may complain that they are in Hell because they cannot perceive the bodily senses as they did on Earth. The spirit who spoke to me in the previous EVP seems to be one in that situation and I find this not uncommon.

Remember, the astral, from which we are able to communicate with passing spirits, is a temporary place of spirit adjustment, and as such, is not permanent. Eventually, if the spirit wants to survive, it must seek divine assistance and find the way to higher dimensions.

The oft-mentioned "Life review" in which we are made to relive the parts of our lives which brought pain to others, humbles all souls and brings them quickly to a realization of spiritual values. Many think that this life review is a part of the reason why many refer to the experience as "Hell".In fact, it should be considered more as an awakening which leads us to a better understanding of our purpose on Earth

Tall people hate short people, fat people hate skinny people, and vice versa. Any differences in appearance, even freckles, can cause children to be ostracized in school. November 7, 2007 -Well, we have survived another Halloween...it's always fun but it certainly has changed over the years.

And you know what?, I think it's more fun now than when we were kids. About all I remember from the long lost years of my childhood was the old style of trick-or-treat (which rarely, if ever, actually included the "trick part") and basically getting together with lots of other neighborhood kids to see who got the biggest bag of candy after making the rounds of the neighborhood..

We outgrew that one real quick and before you knew it, trick or treat was replaced with the "Adult Halloween Costume Party"...Yessir, and now it starts to get really interesting ! I'm sure you've all heard the old joke about the guy who changes costumes at the Halloween Party with his friend and doesn't tell his wife. LOL Heck, I know lots of people who don't need to wait till Halloween for a costume party !

November 3, 2007- Mary and I drove our motorcycle down to Galveston for the annual LONE STAR BIKE RALLY. What a blast ! The entire Strand Historical District was blocked off to auto traffic, and there were tens of thousands of beautiful motorcycles just as far as the eye could see. Unbelievable. Great foods, drinks, entertainment on every corner, and great friendly folks with a common passion for motorcycling. Long live the Lonestar Rally !! Even if you don't ride, you would enjoy the spectacle of this event in the midst of some of the best Texas weather ever conceived !!

October 15, 2007-What happened to the "E" in our language (and what's it got to do with paranormal studies)? Allright, I admit it sounds like a stretch to bring this up in a column on the paranormal, but it came about in a discussion of the phony antics of TV newscasters and actors who are always irritating us with the "giggle factor" associated with those paranormal subjects. Anyways, after hearing in a brief TV segment about the "wat (rhymes with "sat" ) wather", "whatever" (pronounced as "what-aver") after every sentence, "yas" instead of "yes", etc., it appears that the "a" in our language has replaced the "e" in it's previously comfortable position, and a somewhat childish manner of pronunciation has creeped steadily into the language of "LaLa Land".

Yes, we in this country are always subject to trendy little waves of nuttiness in our behaviors, speech, dress, and "what-aver". But you know what ? Maybe it's just that so many people out there are just searching constantly for little ways to stand out from the others in a crowd of billions. Too damn many people on this planet ? Yep, that is so... but more than that, if people would just search inwardly and find the spiritual essence of their higher self within, all this pettiness would soon disappear.

But on the flip side of the coin, many say that a so called "change" towards spirituality has indeed already started to appear throughout the media. Have you noticed the television interest these days in mediums, psychics, angels, etc ?

Maybe...just maybe. But we are all skeptical of the intentions of Hollywood in this respect. Is it just another fad ? Another trendy little tidbit for a nation of sheep? Will it be replaced next season by a new subject ? We'll see...stay tuned to this station RICH

October 13, 2007-It's almost Halloween...again? While speaking with a news reporter (again) about ghost hunting, I was trying (once more) to make the point that what I do with EVP and paranormal investigations is not about "spooks, goblins, and pumpkins" but more about the existing nature of our individual true origin as a spirit. In the very next breath, the interviewer launched into a volley of questions about vampires and werewolves, as if that were still an appropriate part of the direction of our conversation. Does he get it? No...they never do. They don't care either because the boss told them to only write about scary ghost stories and that's the end of the issue.

And sometimes while watching news programs, I get a profound sense of loss about the public perception of plastic faces with pasted smiles I see on TV screens, and the transparent rhetoric I have heard in the media for decades on subjects of both religion and politics. It doesn't seem to have changed much at all over the years. I guess it will take much more than just a lifetime to turn humans away from superstition and awaken them to an awareness of their true relationship to the divine essence and spiritual peace of our universe outside the earth plane. October 4, 2007- Your LAST incarnation on Earth?- Now, that's a sobering thought...and yet it is believed by many that we are all experiencing a rapidly advancing prelude to a new age on planet Earth. Many point to Earth changes as well as noticeable improvements in some societies in awareness and the acceptance of spiritual principles as explanations for the tribulations of human life, (as opposed to the somewhat rigid, superstitious dogma of some traditional religions.)

I have tested this subject in my EVP sessions with the spirit world on many occasions, but have consistently encountered a policy of "non interference" in the replys. Spirits will commonly answer my questions on the subject with replys about the advisability of attending to one's spiritual goals, but they always fall short of further detailing dates and specifics of any major upheaval in society or Earth changes. I have received, however, consistent remarks in passing about the "unsafe" location of my residence. My experience with spirit communication tells me that I am supposed to thusly "read between the lines" and use my intuition and awareness to act accordingly. In other words, we are still on our own down here, and must learn from our human experience in order to better the existence of the spirit world from whence we come. RICH

September 26, 2007- from Paul Harvey News... In Nepal, climbers of MT. Everest have started a new fad...that of having their pictures taken at the summit in the nude to celebrate the success of their climb. Apparently the Napalese government has taken action to stop the practice , stating that it would offend the Gods of Mt. Everest, and insult the people.

My, my...in looking at the calendar, it would seem this IS the 21st century, is it not ? I am constantly amazed, and ultimately saddened by demonstrations of archaic thinking of the religious. My God would most certainly not take offense from His children showing pride in the divine design of their God-given bodies.

And, for what it's worth, in my experience with communication with the spirit world through medium and EVP technique, the subject of human sexuality is taken as a completely natural, and celebrated part of the human experience.

September 24, 2007 Commenting in New Scientist magazine, Dr Andy Albrecht, a physicist at the University of California at Davis, said: "This work will go down as one of the most important developments in the history of science." entire article here

"According to quantum mechanics, nothing at the subatomic scale can really be said to exist until it is observed. Until then, particles occupy nebulous "superposition" states, in which they can have simultaneous "up" and "down" spins, or appear to be in different places at the same time.

Observation appears to "nail down" a particular state of reality, in the same way as a spinning coin can only be said to be in a "heads" or "tails" state (only) once it is caught.

According to quantum mechanics, unobserved particles are described by "wave functions" representing a set of multiple "probable" states. When an observer makes a measurement, the particle then settles down into one of these multiple options."

COMMENT FROM RICH: Can scientists ever open their eyes enough to see the nose on their face ? Scientists require that everything be explained in terms of mathmatical formulas..Since discovering (as a teen) the value of "math" as a map of all that exists, I have long noted that most who embrace the study of higher math seem unable (or unwilling) to grasp the logical existence of dimensional realms of the universe. Why? ... well, because they lack the "intuitive ability" required to "see" such quantum events (translate 'paranormal') occuring in real time...just as the previous article suggests would be necessary for documentation of said events.

In the above referenced article, we can readily see that, at last, scientists may have finally stumbled upon the fact that the perception of other realms of reality can be explained by math...but what they STILL are missing is that psychics and mediums have known this and have practiced the study of dimensional perception without knowing the math since the beginning of recorded time.

Here, we have a scientist actually stating that observation of any quantum mechanics event is necessary to complete the documentation of it's appearance in reality. What !? I thought we had long ago solved the question of whether the tree falling in the forest makes noise if not observed ! But in the case of perception of other (quantum) forms of reality, the scientists now finally agree that to "do it" makes it so... In other words, "we make our own reality" and "thought is energy" two axioms known well for centurys to all who are really aware has finally been duly noted by one scientist at least. No doubt the rest of them will continue to argue over it.

A related problem here is that scientists have refused to listen to the observations and experiences of millions of psychically gifted individuals who have been observing the reality of (quantum) events throughout history. This article is a typical example of how science has worn blinders and mistrusts the testimony of their fellow man. I compare this article to someone making the astounding discovery of the alphabet, and forthwith claims that he has invented "language" and communication skills for mankind.

I personally know a NASA scientist who went to the Himalayas for two years, went into the mountains and meditated with the dedicated "gurus" . Subsequently, he retired and sets his alarm for meditation at 3 AM each and every morning. He is for all practical purposes withdrawn from society, but has benefitted greatly from BOTH his science education and the most valuable wisdom gained from acknowledging the existence and value of personal experience as a tool for perceiving higher forms of reality.

After all, the big shot scientist in the above article said himself that nothing "can really be said to exist until it is observed". so why do we then just automatically denounce the personal paranormal observations of our fellow man ?

EMAIL: My name is Sandra and I live in Santa Fe, Texas -This last weekend we had a party until 2 am. I was snapping pictures and I got 2 odd ones from the bunch.Are those Orbs in the 3rd and 4th pictures abnormalities of my digital camera? I took these with a Canon PowerShot A95 set on auto. I would really want to know what you make of these.

Our property has 2.9 acres and there is a heavily wooded area that consists of 70 acres (we were told) behind our land. During the day, everything is fine, though I don't like walking in the grassy parts because I am afraid of snakes, but at night I have a very eerie feeling.

Nice to hear from you and thanks for sending your pics.

Those photos are typical of the so-called "orb" photos that we see these days mostly from digital cameras. Many are the result of the automatic circuitry in the cameras focusing on distant subjects, and thus resulting in a blurred or out of focus close up of small particles from such as vapors, smoke, dust etc.

Occasionally, orb activity is photographed under conditions which also have other corroborating paranormal factors...sometimes these instances can lead to speculation that the orb is some type of "energy" phenomenon and connected to a paranormal incident. Best that we ascribe paranormal behavior to these orbs only after careful investigation of other factors surrounding the incident. And this is not meant to slight the digital camera ! The digital camera is quite capable of capturing occasional apparitions and very real examples of paranormal occurrence.

About those feelings from the wooded area...not unusual at all as many, myself included, have found that spiritual human entities and also somewhat foreign (to us) types of nature spirits and animal spirits will hang out in forests so they may avoid human contact as much as possible. No doubt this can be responsible for an intuitive feeling of discomfort when alone in their space. Maybe uncomfortable, but usually harmless. RICH

Many thanks to you and others who wrote in with concerns about the EVP message (September 11 and 12 , 2007 *EVP WARNING EVP* "You're in danger...Get Out !".)

I get a lot of EVPs with weird messages.Many are taken with a grain of salt, but they make good copy for the webpage. Some spirits use "drama" as a means of keeping me in communication with them which is, of course, something they learned in their life on Earth.

Occasionally an important spiritual message comes to me through EVP. These rare words are usually from a spirit guide or very wise and enlightened spirit who has been attracted to my communications with the astral world. These messages are usually personal, quite different in composition, and contain advice designed to make me think about a situation and take action on my own initiative and intuition.

In this instance, a spirit guide would not be likely to tell me to "Get Out", but would instead advise me at this time to embark upon some inwardly inspired effort which would hopefully direct me to properly ascertain on my own the problem (and solution) at hand.

I maintain these web pages solely in an effort to help others take on the project of learning spirit world communication by EVP. There is so much more to life than our petty issues here on Earth. Unfortunately, I cannot even begin to fully describe here the experiences I have had without risking disbelief and ridicule from the wayward and lost souls on Earth who are so unfortunate as to not be able to perceive the magnificent spiritual order of things about them. September 11 and 12 , 2007 *EVP WARNING EVP* "You're in danger...Get Out !" Yet another EVP warning comes to us from the astral plane on the 11th.

And then today, (the 12th), we awaken to turbulent skies and the news bulletin that we have a tropical storm bearing down on Galveston, expected to hit at around 9 PM. This will be with gale force winds of up to 50mph, but lots of rain and flood warnings issued. With this another forecast of a possible hurricane strength storm forming south of Galveston and that one may also hit here Thursday. ...could be a couple of busy days around here folks !

September 9,2007-"Pets in spirit" Early this AM, I observed a solid black form in front of the China cabinet in the front room. This form was the general shape of a large dog and was moving around exactly as a playful puppy moves...at one point it even lay down on the floor facing me and then suddenly jumped up and round in a circle. I sat up in my bed and observed this curious "Ghost dog" for at least 30 seconds, (at one point it dissappeared for approx. 5-10 seconds and then came back and stayed until I tried to get out of bed for a closer look. Then it was gone.)

This is not the first time I have seen pets in spirit form. I took a great photo of my Dad appearing in spirit to me in 2004 (seven years after his passing) while holding his puppy in his arms. At the same time I took that photo, I was also recording EVP with a digital recorder and Rachael (spirit companion) asked me "what's the name was of your Dad's puppy?". When I heard her question, I had not yet seen the photo and could not figure why she asked that question at that time. Needless to say I was shocked to see that photo and my Dad holding his pekinese puppy (sideways) in his right arm as he waved to us with his left. This amazing photo is on the website HERE.

September 3,2007- "EVP OF THE DAY" A very interesting message from a male spirit this morning during a brief EVP session...I had asked for spirits to give me a revealing comment about life on the other side...To my amazement I received this immediate reply: " The Earth is better !" September 1, 2007- about 4 AM- I awoke abruptly to the sound of a female voice sobbing and mumbling incoherently. As I looked about the room and through the open door to the living room, I spied our dog awake in his bed and lifting his head as if he too had heard something. But I saw no one, ghost or otherwise. I checked to see if Mary was awake and she sleepily replied that she had heard nothing. Mary then got out of bed to go to the bathroom and after returning told me that while in the bathroom she had heard the voice as if the person or entity was speaking from the other side of the door, but there was no crying.

Everything was quiet after that and we went back to sleep (not unusual for our house at night !). I will conduct some EVP sessions to see if I can get any more information on this episode....stay tuned !

August 29,2007- Bad financial news all week, stock market down, fears of market weakness abroad, more war threats, etc. It's time to remind folks of one of my favorite explanations of the source of all our woes ...read this... again...

August 26, 2007- EVP SESSION today- Today's EVP session was dominated by Rachael, my spirit companion of seven years now, and whom I haven't heard much from in the last couple of weeks. It was nice to hear her voice, and true to the explanation in her last message to me, the subject matter would now continue to be of a spiritual nature and in this case, highly personal to Mary and me. In regards to the EVP material received today, Mary and I share the separate experiences of having had a considerably "less than perfect" family situation in our own respective childhoods. This experience, which has affected our lives on down the road, has actually been for us a source of bonding as we help each other heal from the old wounds.

Todays message for us from Rachael was, as I said, quite personal and can't be discussed in detail here...however there is, as always, an obligation for us to drop a spiritual tip to our human friends who are following our website...this from Rachael, who asks that all young people entering into the newness of relationships, stop to consider that human frailities can be embedded in the minds of young children very easily by parental actions,and the harmful results of carelessness in the upbringing of children can do longlasting and unrepairable harm to their attitudes and outlook on life. It is well known that such childhood experiences often taint the behavior of adults and can result in an inability to maintain proper relationships with others and can even lead to criminal behaviors.

The first segment of Rachaels EVP message contained 63 words, and spoke of the carrying through to the spirit world of hate garnered from misguided and improper parental behaviors. In the afterlife this can cause the necessity for a special sort of "spiritual therapy and study" to overcome these fears and hatred generated in childhood and perpetuated throughout one's lifetime.

It is all too obvious that our news reports of this age have shown young children demonstrating some dangerous behaviors, some of which have lead to violence of an unbelievable nature. Our schools reports serious problems with student behavior and a lack of respect for others in general. School administrators and psychologists cite a "lack of discipline" as a factor, as often as they cite abuse from parenting.

I have often written of "overpopulation" as a growing factor in our world's problems, and have long predicted that it will indeed get worse, before it gets better. There are days like this...when the outlook is not optimistic, not bright, and depressing for sure. Perhaps today is one of those days...RICH

August 25, 2007- Email: Rich, I have enjoyed reading thru your site and learned some things too. A friend and I intend to do a little searching on our own, after finishing some research.But i thought maybe you could help me with a question on EVPs.

I plan to get two cheap digital recorders and plug in a remote mike plug (no mike,leads taped) in one recorder and leave the other alone. They would be started at same time giving me a time stamp.If the spirits are using the inherent white noise in the machine(since they have no way to easily verbalize) then a recorder with NO mike will only pick that up without having to pick it out of the other voices of the crew etc.who are usually talking over the response.

Does this sound like it might work? And by the way I would much rather see you and Mary on Ghost Hunters than that crew, you I feel are taking the proper approach. Thank you , Ray Sacks

Regarding your desire to bypass the mike during recording- Yes, in theory it could be possible that any recorder could actually produce a recording from a magnetically induced field (without a mike), as long as the field affecting the internal circuitry is applied at the correct location in the circuit and is of a proper field type and strength to operate with that particular circuit design.

But alas there can be many problems which may take modifications to the circuit before it will work the way we would want it to work. For instance, we all know that "cross talk" can occasionally occur on some amplified circuitry, but it rarely occurs because the circuit is designed to protect from that. Such protective circuitry may also affect the EVP signal, especially since the signal strength of EVP may be very small in amplitude. Most likely, a recorders circuits to the mike are not properly operational without the correct impedance from the mike...so any results would probably be just luck depending on the circuit design.

Actually, it would be very simple to design some modifications to a recorder circuit for enhancement of the EVP experiments...but I have searched for years to find an engineer who would work with me on this simple project and it would seem that engineers have, in general, little interest in the paranormal. (unless there is a good paycheck to back it up)

By the way, in regards to the "other voices of the crew"...tell them to get quiet or get lost !

August 21, 2007- The immediate hurricane danger to Texas has been reduced to practically zero now as Hurricane Dean crosses Yucatan and headsaway from Texas and towards the central and south Mexican Gulf Coast.

We have spent the past few days going through the "drill" (as we here on the Texas Gulf Coast are quite used to). This is always a hassle, and an expense as we must stock up on water, food, fuel and misc. supplies. In our case, we even bought a generator to provide power in case of electrical outages. So you see, these precautions can be intrusive but if one finds themself facing a hurricane without having gone through these "drills", the consequences can be deadly if the storm strikes your location.

Having been preoccupied with "human" endeavors related to survival, I have not conducted any EVP sessions for several days, and paranormal activity around our house has been next to zero. I must take some time today or tommorrow to communicate with the spirit world...stay tuned...RICH

August 17, 2007- EVP HURRICANE DANGER PREDICTION- Here on the Texas Gulf Coast today we are recovering from Tropical Storm Erin which crossed the state yesterday dumping torrential rain and killing seven people. Now we are anxiously awaiting news on the track of Hurricane Dean, which is just entering the Carribean at category 2 strength (forecast to cat 4) and heading straight for Texas. We are still considering the significance of the spirit comunication of August 11 (scroll down) which forecast a general warning of danger to Rich and Mary, along with recent EVP messages with the same "danger " warning advised.

August 16.2007- DANGER IN TEXAS- Today we have a possible explanation for the dire warning given to Rich a couple of days ago (scroll down for blog entry August 11). We are just a few miles from the coast and quite vulnerable to storms during hurricane season. This morning Tropical Storm "Erin" rolled onto the Texas Gulf Coast bringing yet more rain to an already saturated Texas soil. To make matters worse, Hurricane Dean is barreling through the Carribean "shute" and heading straight for the Gulf.

Yep...it's hurricane season again here on the Gulf Coast, and most likely my spirit warning of August 11 was a little "wake-up call" from our spirit friends on the other side...

August 12, 2007-AN ASTOUNDING MESSAGE FROM BEYOND- Today while doing my routine EVP recording contact with the spirit world, I did not find my usual greeting from Rachael (my spirit friend of 7 years of EVP contacts)...instead I was told that she will be moving on from the Astral region and to a calling of a higher spiritual serving ! For the last couple of months I have noticed her having difficulty with "low energy" as she would complain while fading out like a distant radio signal. And then fewer and fewer messages overall (whereas before she would sometimes actually dominate my EVP sessions with dozens of messages).

The text of what may be one of her last messages to me this date was as follows: "Todays traveling against my serving...coming down less frequent now. We now thank Him..."

I knew that this must happen sooner or later, but I will miss her . For those who may not know about Rachael, she was identified by a psychic as my wife in a former lifetime, and although reluctant at first to admit this, Rachael eventually told us some details of her relationship with me as a ship captain and her sailing with me as I brokered goods from privateers in the early 1800's.Our trading travels included New Orleans, Galveston, and the Caribbean Islands as ports frequented.

Rachael was a bold, brave, and outspoken woman, a natural as a companion to a seafaring ship captain whose livelihood walked the line between the worlds of pirates and land merchants eager to score a bargain on plundered goods. August 11, 2007 - CLAIREAUDIENT EXPERIENCE-I don't consider myself a "psychic" because I cannot avail myself of psychic abilities at just any time. However, I have experienced psychic episodes, visions, and apparitions all my life. For me, I have found it best that I be in the "alpha" mental state for these incidents to most effectively occur, and there are a couple of things I can do to get to that very receptive state. One is to meditate, which is difficult for me usually because one must retire to a secluded place and remove oneself from the world's daily activities.Another way is "self-hypnosis" which I have practiced for years, but again is a method which requires isolation and disassociation from earthly events. The easiest way for me is to take advantage of the " alpha" state which occurs naturally as we are drifting off to sleep and also upon awakening from a normal sleep cycle . Audible ghost communication takes place for me almost every night during these times if I want it...and all I have to do to shut it down is to snap myself into a complete conscious "earthly" state and the spirits are ejected from my awareness. And sometimes one just isn't in the mood for ghost voices in the middle of the night so I have become adept at controlling these events.

Early this morning ( 5:00 AM) upon awakening from a regular dream state, I immediately heard a gentle voice saying "Listen...Danger !" As you can imagine, this clear message brought me immediately to a full awakened state, and I must adnit that today this message has stayed uppermost in my mind. I don't get this type of message often, but the truth of the matter is that about six months ago I started to get the words "danger" and also "danger in Texas" in some of my EVP sessions.

Normally, we are extremely cautious about messages of this sort from the spirit world, as we well know that some spirits long for the attention of humans and contact with the Earth experience. Some spirits will do or say outrageous things to get our attention for awhile as they just haven't yet adjusted to their low-energy existence in the spirit world.

In this case however, the repetition of the theme of danger, and multiple mention over time by different spirits merits notice. I have asked them to be more specific, but alas, I get no specific answers. I should point out that this is entirely typical for spirits to NOT give much information on such subjects as it is clearly a violation of their assigned protocol and the "prime directive" of non-interference !

At this point, Mary and I are on "yellow alert" and will keep you posted on any further spirit communications that might cast some light on the incident.

August 10, 2007- (about 3 AM)-A VISIT FROM AN INDIAN GHOST FROM MARY'S DREAMI awoke from a "normal" sleep as my dog Rex bumped my hand. (That's his way of waking me at night if he wants to go out side) As I was lying there getting up the courage to get out of bed, suddenly I heard a loud female voice exclaiming what seemed to be a two or three sylable (or word) phrase from possibly an American Indian language. This would not be the first time that I had such an experience and I immediately rolled over and woke Mary to see if she remembered speaking. Mary often speaks a language in her sleep which seems to sound like Indian, and since her grandmother was full blooded Cherokee, we often wonder if Mary is communicating with her grandmother or other Indians during these incidents.

Mary was quite excited as she immediately exclaimed "That's amazing ! I was just at this moment dreaming that I was in an outdoor setting with two Indian elders and was asking them to explain to me what was the (translated) meaning of 'Sioux' and 'Cherokee' tribal names."

Before she got an answer in her dream, I woke her with my description of the words I had heard spoken out loud. Was it Mary speaking, or was it another from beyond the veil ? Mary was very moved by this experience and spoke often about it all day.

I had difficulty recognizing the word spoken at that time because of my unfamiliarity with Indian languages. However, if I had to guess, it may have sounded something like "lah-koh-tah" There are three tribes of the Sioux...the Lakhota (Lakota) Dakota, and Nakota. (spellings vary)

We do both believe Mary's grandmother is around our house and one night earlier this summer I was sharply awakened by a frightening image of a woman standing beside me at the bed. She was small, quite old and wrinkled, and wearing elaborate dress and scarf exactly like one would imagine an old Indian woman to be wearing. She lunged towards me, startling me and she dissapeared as I sat straight up in bed !

Mary and I recorded an EVP of an Indian greeting us while in the west Texas Hill Country a few summers ago...it was the highlight of our trip as we had actually asked for any Indian native to speak to us. We were deep in the woods about 2 or more hours from any town.

August 10, 2007 (about 2PM) Two consecutive distressing events happened to me this afternoon as I went to two different retail stores for shopping. In each store, I immediately encountered an agitated employee who exhibited rudeness and indifference that was above and beyond the usual crap we have come to expect from the vast chains of impersonal warehouse department stores that now control retail sales in this country. No matter what I said, (or didn't say), every word I spoke seemed to be construed into some twisted, convoluted version of what I really said. Each person became more and more agitated and vulgar with each passing moment, whether I spoke or not ! I quickly concluded my business and left each establishment, vowing to never return.

What the hell was this about ?? I should have listened to Dr Turi ! When I returned to the house and went to the internet to check my email, there was the following message from Dr Turi New Moon in Leo-Note: We may be in a new Moon period, but be alert of Pluto’s power upon us for a few days.
